Before leaving the Oscars, we should note that the post-Oscar show on ABC (after your local news) was a special edition of Jimmy Kimmel, which featured his response to a now fairly widely seen video of Sarah Silverman's. There's a whole fairly complicated history here which has something to do with Silverman's appearance at a Comedy Central Roast of Pam Anderson, and a running gag on Kimmel about having Damon as a guest, but running out of time before he can come on. In any case, you don't need a lot of backstory to appreciate Silverman's musical kiss-off:
