Or... why I should blogsearch after I eat lunch: the tension level spilled over a bit today for me over at The American Prospect, where taking in Ezra's Wright observations was followed by Mark Schmitt's long (and wrong, I think) take on Florida and Michigan ...and that led me to a boil over discussion with the Ez himself on this post.
And now Schmitt's kindly linked to me (and tried, unsuccessfully, to link to this Tom Watson post on other pro-Clinton bloggers), and here I sit, with a burnt lunch (hint, an unwatched pot of pasta sauce...overcooks), and a sour stomach.
Honestly though, when you try to offer a full set of thoughts on a topic... only to have it boiled down to this, then try to make a plug for unity and calm, and get this in response, it's just... ergh. I suppose I get what I deserve, being the man in this line drawing (again, the brilliant xkcd, via Redstar):
Lunch is the most important meal of the day...but your voice at Ezra's was needed.
