I was hesitating to continue in this vein, but this week was so full of gay marriage news: the people registering to marry in Washington state (insert joke here about using now legal pot, too), and the Supreme Court dithering for days about whether to take any gay marriage cases, and then at the final minute taking the DOMA case and the Prop 8 case... well, I think we can keep joking about who is going to marry whose boyfriends or girlfriends, now, can't we?
Because it's funny... until Antonin Scalia says marriage is between a man and a woman. And then it's not... although I think if he does that in an opinion, it will basically be hilarious.
